We’d like to say we stayed some five star resort in Bali. The truth is we stayed at Mercure Bali Legian The rest of the wedding party was staying here as well. Online it seemed to be a fairly decent property with a reasonable price. After living in Australia, we had a few ideas of what the Mercure brand would hold, we weren’t expecting much. This is our review of the Mercure Bali Legian.
When we arrived by taxi, we were greeted by a full-service hotel with porters, concierge, a gym, a spa and a ground-floor restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised and quickly reminded that hotels in Asia are much more value than anywhere in the world.
Mercure Bali Legian is ideally located in the Legian area at the intersection of popular tourist destinations. This made it very easy to explore the surrounds by foot. It was only a 10-minute walk to the Legian Beach.
We stayed in a guest room for one week, and it was perfect. We definitely enjoyed our time and would come back to this property in a heartbeat.
